QUICHE TAL-QARGHA

Ghall-ghagina:
500 g dqiq plain
Nofs kuccarina melh fin
140 g butir
25 g xaham
Imgharfa zejt
Ilma kiesah biex tghaqqad
Ghal mili:
20 g butir
Basla mqatta’ rqiqa
4 slajsis bacon mqatta’ rqaq
400 g qargha hamra mqatta’ rqiq
4 bajdiet mhabbtin hafif
180 ml. krema friska
2 imgharef gobon Romano mahkuk
Mgharfa chives mqattghin
Melh u bzar mithun frisk
Metodu:
Gharbel id-dqiq mal-melh fi skutella. Zid il-butir u x-xaham.
Uza jdejk biex tahdem il-butir u x-xaham mad-dqiq sakemm
it-tahlita tkun bhal frak tal-hobz. Zid iz-zejt u hallat
sew. Zid bizzejjed ilma kiesah biex tkun tista’ tghagen
l-ghagina li mandiex tkun ratba jew xotta izzejjed. Ghagen
l-ghagina ghal madwar 3 minuti fuq ftit dqiq. Ghatti l-ghagina
sew bil-cling film u poggieha f'post frisk ghal 30 minuta.
Idlek landa tal-quiche ta'madwar 22cm. bil-butir u ghaddi
hafif bid-dqiq. Iftah l-ghagina fuq daqsxejn dqiq u iksi
il-qiegh u l-gnub tal-landa li tkun ippreparajt. Ghatti
l-ghagina b'aluminium foil midluka bil-butir u iccattja
l-foil sew ma l-ghagina. Uza furketta u taqqab ftit il-foil.
Poggi kwantita ta'fazola bajda biex tghatti l-foil. Ahmi
go forn jahraq ghal- 12 l-minuta. Ohrog mill-forn u halliha
tibred ftit.
Poggi d-dadi tal-qargha hamra fi skutella u ghaffeg sew.
Hawwar bil-melh u l-bzar.
Holl il-butir f'tagen, zid il-basla u sajjar fuq nar moderat
sakemm il-basla tibdel il-kulur. Zid il-bacon u sajjar ghal
2 minuti. Hawwad sew u zid il-qargha hamra. Sajjar ghal
3 minuti filwaqt li thawwad kultant. Nizzel minn fuq in-nar
u halli jibred ftit.
Hallat il-bajd imhabbat flimkien mal-gobon, il-krema u ic-chives.
Zid din it-tahlita mat-tahlita tat-tagen. Hawwad. Poggi
din it-tahlita gol- forma ta’ l-ghagina li tkun hmejt.
Illixxa il-wicc tat-tahlita sew u ahmi go forn moderat ghal
madwar 40 minuta jew sakemm tara li il-quiche ghaqdet u
hadet kulur sabih dehbi. Ohrog mill-forn u halliha toqghod
ghal 5 minuti qabel taqla il-quiche mill-landa. Servi shuna
ma' xi insalata friska
