Ingredjenti:
3 kikkri dqiq plain
Zewg kuccarini u nofs baking powder
Kuccarina kannella
Nofs kikkra zbib
Nofs kikkra sultana
Kikkra gewz imqatta’
Zewg terzi ta'kikkra zejt tal-haxix
Kikkra zokkor
Kikkra meraq tal-laring frisk
Qoxra ta' laringa mahkuka
Biex izzejjen:
Madwar 8 nofsijiet tal-gewz
2 imgharef icing sugar
Metodu:
Idlek forma tonda ta'madwar 26 centimetru bil-butir, u iksi
hafif bit-tqiq.
Gharbel id-dqiq mal-baking powder u il-kannella. Zid iz-zbib
u is-sultana u hallat sew, umbaghad zid il-gewz u iz-zokkor.
Hawwad tajjeb.
Fi skutella separata habbat il-meraq tal-laring maz-zejt,
imbaghad zid il-qoxra tal-laringa. Zid din it-tahlita mat-tahlita
tad-dqiq. Hawwad hafif, hafif, u poggi din it-tahlita fil-forma
li tkun ippreparajt. Illixxa sew il-wicc tat-tahlita.
Ahmi go forn jahraq ghal madwar 50 minuta jew sakemm tara
li il-kejk ikun ha kulur dehbi u jkun sar sew.
Ohrog mill-forn u halli joqghod ghal 5 minuti, imbaghad
ohrog il-kejk mill-forma u halli jibred sew.
Poggi il-kejk fuq platt tond, xerred l-icing sugar fill-wicc
u zejjen bin- nofsijiet tal-gewz
