Metodu:
Ghalli r-ross, itfa ftit melh u saffieh.
Poggi r-ross fuq sarvetta nadifa u hallieh jixxotta sew
mill-ilma.
Sadanittant, qatta’ l-brungiel f’bicciet kwadri.
Naddaf il-bzar miz-zerriegha u qattghu wkoll f’biccet
kwadri.
Poggi mgharfa zejt fit-tagen ta’ Scanpan u sajjar
il-brungiel u l-bzar. Jekk ikun hemm bzonn zid 2 mgharef
ilma. Hallihom isiru sa ma jirtabu.
Kif tara li sar zid ir-ross, zid ftit melh u bzar u itfi.
Hallieh jiksah.
