TORTA TAT-TAMAL U
GEWZ

Ingredjenti:
Ghall-ghagina:
450 g dqiq plain.
Niskata melh fin.
225 g butir mhux mielah.
2 Imgharef corn oil.
6 Imgharef zokkor.
Qoxra ta' lumija mahkuka.
Ftit qtar tal- vanilla.
Ilma kiesah biex tghaqqad l-ghagina.
Ghal-Mili :
2 pakketti ta' 250 g tamal tac-cappa mqatta’ bicciet
zghar.
Meraq ta' 6 laringiet.
200 g gewz bla qoxra u mqatta’ bicciet
Icing sugar biex izejjen
Metodu:
Idlek forma tonda tal-forn ta' madwar 12 l-pulzier bil-butir
u iksi hafif bid-dqiq.
Gharbel id-dqiq u il-melh go skutella, zid il-butir u ghagen
flimkien sakemm isiru bhal frak tal-hobz fin. Zid iz-zejt,
ghagen ftit, zid iz-zokkor, qoxra tal-lumi u vanilla, u
ghagen sew. Zid bizzejjed ilma biex tkompli tghagen u jkollok
ghagina soda imma li tinhadem tajjeb. Ghatti l-ghagina sew
u halli go post frisk ghal madwar 30 minuta.
Iftah l-ghagina fuq ftit dqiq u iksi il-qiegh u l-gnub tal-forma
midluka. Zomm ftit ghagina biex izzejjen.
Go kazzola poggi t-tamal mal-meraq tal-laring u sajjar fuq
nar moderat sakemm it-tamal jinhall u jithallat sew mal-laring.
Hawwad sew u halli jibred. Zid il-gewz, hawwad sew u poggi
it-tahlita fuq l-ghagina fil-forma. Illixxa sew.
Iftah il-kumplament ta’ l-ghagina, aqta’ strixxi
twal u ghamel bhal kanizzata ta’ l-ghagina fuq il-mili
tat-torta.
Ahmi go forn moderat ghal madwar 50 minuta. Ohrog mill-
forn, halli it-torta tibred, ohrog mill- forma u poggi fuq
platt tond. Zejjen billi ixerred l-icing sugar fill-wicc
tat-torta
