400 g dqiq plain
Imgharfa lixxa baking powder
300 g zokkor
200 g intrita pura
150 g lewz imqaxxar u inkaljat.
100 g cirasa mqatta’
2 imgharef Golden Syrup
2 kuccarini mixed spice
Nofs kuccarina msiemer tal-qronfol mithuna
2 imgharef ilma zahar
Qoxra mahkuka ta' laringa u qoxra mahkuka ta' lumijja
Mgharfa kokotina
Madwar 3 imgharef ilma
Golden Syrup biex tiksi



Metodu:
Idlek pjanci tal-forn bil-margerina u ghaddi hafif bid-dqiq. Qatta’ il-lewz inkaljat.
Gharbel flimkien id-dqiq, il-baking powder u l-kokotina. Zid iz-zokkor, l-intrita, il-hwawar, ic-cirasa, il-golden syrup, il-qxur tal-frott u l-ilma zahar. Ghagen it-tahlita b'idejk u zid l-ilma bil-mod. Din it-tahlita m'ghandiex tkun la iebsa u lanqas ratba zzejjed.
Biex tifforma il-kwarezimal, xarrab idejk u fforma bhal zalzett minn din it-tahlita. Poggi fuq il-pjanci tal-forn u iccattja ftit il-wicc ta'kull wahda, umbaghad b'sikkina ghamel linji skuntrati fill-wicc. Ahmi go forn moderat ghal ftit jahraq ghal madwar ghoxrin minuta. Zomm dan il-hin bi precizjoni.
Ohrog mill-forn, halli joqghodu ghal zewg minuti, iksi bil-golden syrup u xerred il-lewz inkaljat. Halli jibirdu.
