Metodu:

Qatta’ l-lumi fi tnejn, poggihom go vazett b’hafna melh u ilma u hallihom joqghodu ghal xahar.

Qatta’ t-tigieg f’bicciet, u aqli fi ftit zejt minn zewg nahat, zid il-basal, iz-zebbug ahdar, qatra zejt taz-zebbuga u l-istokk tat-tigiega u sajjar ghal ftit minuti u poggi fi skutella Tagine.
Nehhi l-lumi mill-vazett, qatta’ bicciet mill-qoxra tal-lumi u zid mat-tigiega fl-iskutella tagine, halli kollox isir bil-mod fil-forn ghal nofs siegha sakemm it-tiegiega tkun saret bizzejjed.

F’bowl, poggi l-couscous, il-melh, il-butir u zid l- istokk tat-tigiega jaghli, ghatti l-couscous sakemm jassorbi l-likwidu u sakemm jikber. Hawwad il-couscous b’furketta.
